MISSION: MAKE AN ON-AIR SPECIAL AND GFX PACKAGE

For Women's history month, we wanted to treat it as a celebration of women you might not have heard of or be familiar with. In order to do that we shot our own editorial staff talking about these women and then adding fun graphical overlays to give more context into what they're famous for.

Working with a cel animator and Illustrator, we were able to incorporate some fun elements across the full 30 min of footage along with designing an open and segment header cards.

A project of this magnitude is difficult since you can't hands on design everything but rather have to give a style guide of sorts along with working files to the editorial team to pepper in graphics and text where necessary. My job was really being the go-to for how this graphic language worked and how best to get the design team talking with the editorial team.
