SYFY WIRE REBRAND
mission: give syfy wire personality
SYFY WIRE needed a new personality and I was tasked with spearheading a new visual language across all media. We had to not only think about signage and social posts, but also how this thinking would translate to motion.
​
We came up with a strong identity based in nostalgic comic books and ended up treating the logo as a sticker to give the brand a "zine" vibe. It's retro but with a modern take and has a definite point of view. In the process of development, we really solidified our brand voice and ended up designing so many assets just to essentially make sure this would carry through.
